May took home the gold at the In-Store Marketing Expo
in Chicago, Illinois. The long time sign manufacturer is broadening its
focus to becoming a full service point-of-purchase provider for the retail
environment. Presented by P-O-P Times, a trade publication for the point-of
-purchase industry, the Design of the Times Awards Competition recognizes
the best displays in the P.O.P. industry.

The International Association of Diecutting and Diemaking recognized May Advertising International Ltd. for its safe practices in die-cut sign manufacturing. The Gold Safety Award was given to May for running 30,000 hours of die-cutting operations with no safety hazards and zero accidents. This highlights May’s strength as a leading manufacturer of die-cut signs and decals, giving May international recognition for its exemplary practices.

Competition for the second year in a row among 930 entries in 42 categories.
May received international recognition for its exemplary print quality
and dedication to maintaining superior printing standards.
May's winning entries were screen printed, embossed and die cut
aluminum signs advertising three popular beverage brands. May received
a gold medal of excellence for a Clos du Bois sign manufactured for Packaging
Arts, Inc., a bronze medal for a Michelob Golden Draft sign manufactured
for Anheuser-Busch, Inc. and an honorable mention for a Leinenkugel's
Honey Weiss sign manufactured for Miller Brewing Company.

Graphic Imaging Association's Safety Recognition Program for the
year 2004.

May Advertising International received a silver medal of distinction at the 23rd annual Golden Image Competition hosted by the Screenprinting and Graphic Imaging Association in Atlanta, Georgia. The winning entry was a screen printed, embossed and die cut aluminum sign advertising Foster’s beer. The sign was manufactured by May Advertising for Madden Communications, the buying group for Miller Brewing Company. The simple, but unique design was judged against 800 entries on its image, color, complexity and overall quality. The award recognizes May’s exemplary print quality and dedication to maintaining superior printing standards.
