FORT WORTH, TEXAS—May Advertising International, Ltd. was announced earlier this week as one of three finalists for the Fort Worth Chamber of Commerce’s “A Rising Star” Small Business of the Year Award in the 101-250 Employee category. Since 1998, the Fort Worth Chamber of Commerce has honored Chamber Member for-profit businesses that have demonstrated best practices of entrepreneurship with this award. Winners in each of the five categories will be announced in March 2006.
Judging is based on growth, performance, business and customer service strategies and practices, community involvement and employee relations. Companies are also evaluated on their unique and innovative approaches to facing business challenges.
Earlier this year May was honored for its excellence in importing in the Mayor’s Global Business Awards and in a list published by the Fort Worth Business Press as being one of the largest Dallas-Fort Worth area women-owned businesses.
