May Advertising International received the silver medal of distinction at the 23rd annual Golden Image Competition. The Screenprinting and Graphic Imaging Association hosted the 2003 competition in Atlanta, Georgia, October 15 through 18. This is a principle show for development of images and equipment in the screen printing and graphic industry, and gives international recognition to winning entries. May Advertising competed against over 100 other screen printing companies to win. The award recognizes exemplary print quality and dedication to maintaining superior printing standards.
The winning entry was a screen printed, embossed and die cut aluminum sign advertising Foster’s beer. The sign was manufactured by May Advertising for Madden Communications, the buying group for Miller Brewing Company. The simple, but unique design was judged against 800 entries on its image, color, complexity and overall quality.
